Becoming a BALL X PIT expert takes time and practice. Here's your roadmap:
The Warrior is the most balanced choice for new players. Alternatively, The Cogitator helps by auto-selecting upgrades, or The Shieldbearer offers high survivability while you learn.
Practice paddle positioning! Where the ball hits your paddle determines the bounce angle. Hit with the left side to bounce left, right side to bounce right, center for straight up. Predict where enemies will move and aim accordingly.
Evolve when you have a clear plan for what evolution you want. Don't randomly combine balls. In early game (waves 1-10), stick to simple 2-ball evolutions. Save complex multi-evolutions for later when you have the component pieces ready.
Learn their attack patterns, stay mobile, and use DoT (damage over time) effects like burn and poison so you can focus on dodging. Save your active abilities for boss fights. Most importantly: stay calm and don't panic!
There's no single "strongest" build, but Nuclear Bomb (Bomb + Poison) and Black Hole (Sun + Dark) are among the most powerful late-game evolutions. The best build depends on your character, playstyle, and available upgrades.
Complete levels with existing characters for the first time to earn blueprints. Build the character's house at your base to unlock them. Progress through the game and you'll gradually unlock all 16 characters.
